Primary
responsibility of individual would be to manage
LAN and WAN systems including network security.
The key responsibilities include; administer
complex networks including switches, routers,
and wide-area links; plan, implement and maintain
network security systems including firewalls,
site-to-site VPNs, and remote network access;
troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications
to identify malfunctions and other operational
difficulties; monitor enterprise systems using
Solarwinds HP NNM and HP Systems Insight Manager;
cooperate on builds and maintenance of servers,
desktops, and portable systems to ensure network
functionality and security are maintained.
Provide second-tier support to helpdesk for
networking and server-related issues; participate
in the suggestion, establishment and enhancement
of networking and server standards. Create,
maintain and audit server and network documentation;
manage and maintain Avaya IP office phone
system; and, maintain and manage Cisco based
network, which includes 2600 and 3600 series
routers, 3700 series switches and PIX firewalls.
Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software
or specialized utility programs. In connection with such reporting
protocols as MDCH reporting Requirements; Eligibility processing for
multiple provider networks; and, Habilitation Waiver data collection
and reporting, develop testing standards and results criteria for
functional, regression, integration, and user interface and GUI
standards and security. Responsible for HIPPA compliance testing in
CMH-Link application. Develop ongoing test plan for the CMH-Lind application.
Work closely with Application Developers for error resolution
